From Humble Bee-ginnings:
Our Story
Veteran Wil and his wife Patty discovered beekeeping while working at the Pacific Missile Range Facility in Kaua’i, Hawaii. What began as a simple curiosity quickly grew into a passion—for the bees, for the island, and for the community that welcomed them so warmly.
Inspired by the kindness of the locals, Wil and Patty wanted to create something that reflected that same love and generosity. Their passion for the bees and their dedication to giving back led to the creation of I Love You Honey. The name represents love, community, and appreciation for life’s simple offerings.
Every jar of I Love You Honey is made with care, honoring the land, protecting the environment, and supporting the local community. It is more than just sweetness—each jar carries the work of dedicated hands, a love for Kauai, and a commitment to the future. For Wil and Patty, this is the Hawaiian way of life: sharing, caring, and giving back, building a legacy rooted in family, service, and reverence for the island they now proudly call home.
Our Island Girls
Our bees aren’t just workers, they’re part of our ohana, the family that makes everything possible. These tiny guardians of the island buzz through Kaua’i’s vibrant flowers, gathering nectar and turning it into golden honey filled with the island’s mana—the life force that flows through the land and all living things.
Their work helps keeps the land healthy and blooming, and every drop of honey they create carries their spirit, patience, and care. We honor and protect our bees because they are more than just insects; they’re sacred helpers in the circle of life.
Together, we live the Hawaiian way: respecting nature, giving back, and sharing the sweetness of aloha with every jar.
